Kind and Quirky Psychotherapy

Talk therapy for those who are willing to laugh at themselves...and their therapist a little.

*Virtual therapy to residents in California and Tennessee

Why bother with therapy?

Relationships can feel complicated…

Work can be chaotic…

Our thoughts can get out of control…

Sometimes life seems like too much for us to be able to deal with. We get caught up thinking about how alone, angry, worried, helpless, or resentful we are. We go to friends and loved ones but struggle to feel heard and understood. Or we don't say anything at all because we believe we should be able to handle it on our own... Over time we just get used to pushing aside our emotions, putting on a good smile, and continuing to endure the same struggle again and again, oftentimes because we don’t know what else to do.

But what if we had the skills to change things up a bit? How different could our lives look? That's where therapy can help.

Kind and Quirky Therapy is about helping you to recognize and challenge the frustrating patterns that keep you feeling stuck, without the fear of being put down, lectured, or minimized. It’s about helping you to accept who you are and what you are going through, and to teach you to be kind to yourself when that little voice kicks in saying things like "I should be better than this, what's wrong with me?!" Care, validation, and a bit of playfulness are at the center of this process to assure you that no issue is too heavy to talk about. If this is the kind of support that resonates with you, then take a peek around to learn more about how I can help. You can also start by setting up a free 15 minute consultation.
